Mk2 SHIFTER BALL REBUILD KIT
The weakest point in the shifter assembly on Golf 2 and Jetta 2 models is the ball and socket assembly at the bottom of the shift lever. Wear from ordinary use will eventually cause excessive vertical play in the shifter and could cause the reverse lockout finger to break off when reverse is selected. This kit includes the parts that are needed to restore your sloppy shifter to like-new condition.
