This special quick ratio rack and pinion gear set is perhaps the most
underrated performance part around. The Sport Rack and Pinion Set, manufactured
for Autotech by R.T. Quaife Engineering, simply replaces the
existing pieces inside your stock steering rack housing. More rapid steering response
is felt with a 25 percent reduction in ratio, resulting in one less turn
lock-to-lock. This translates into much quicker steering and turn in at the cost
of a slight increase in effort.
A must for Autocross and track work. Includes new gears, pinion bearing, pinion
seal, Swepco grease and new rack boots. Rack assembly instructions are included.
