When combined with a sport exhaust system and the Euro intake camshaft, the 2035cc 16V engine kicks out a breathtaking 170 horsepower. The 2035cc 8V with a SportTuned head pumps out 150hp. Each kit includes a new Factory forged 2.0L crankshaft, special Autotech SportTuned forged piston set, new German main and rod bearings, and an OEM headgasket. Instructions are included for modification of oil pump and intermediate shaft. These components are designed to use the standard 144mm (1.8L or 2.0L) connecting rods. This kit uses an original Volkswagen forged crankshaft to ensure durability, and JE pistons designed for the rigors of sport use.
