SPORTTUNED Ti RETAINER SET, 5-CYL 10V
Autotech manufactures SportTuned lightweight titanium retainers for the ultimate street or race valvetrain. Each SportTuned retainer is made from Certified 6AL/4V titanium and is designed as a direct replacement for stock. They will work with stock or our SportTuned springs. After machining, they are Tiodized«, a proprietary process for titanium similar to hard anodizing of aluminum alloy, to increase durability. At around 1/2 the weight of stock, SportTuned Ti Retainers reduce reciprocating mass, creating a faster-revving engine, reducing the risk of valve float as well. Autotech makes this once esoteric part affordable for street use
