The factory airbox in Mk3 cars has been found to be restrictive, robbing precious horsepower and stifling the engine's intake note under acceleration. Autotech has addressed both issues with our new Cold Air Intake Kits. The factory airbox is completely removed and a custom K&N air filter is placed low down in the fender well to ingest cold outside air. Significant horsepower and torque is gained, as is a throaty intake growl when putting the hammer down! Since it never uses hot, engine-compartment air, the gains you get keep on coming.

The beautifully polished 3-inch diameter intake tube is a work of art. It is constructed entirely of 6061-T6 aluminum. Don't settle for competitor's heavier steel units when you can enjoy the ultra lightweight performance that aluminum provides at a comparable price!

The intake tube mates to the mass airflow sensor via a reinforced silicone hose for high performance that you demand and the race look you desire. Autotech engineers also have included all necessary parts to relocate any factory emissions tubing/lines to accommodate the intake kit for a quality installation. Available to fit both 2.0 liter and VR6 Mk3 Golf and Jetta.
